A highly established global financial institution is searching for a Bilingual Technical Support Officer to join their Customer Service Technical Support Team in their brand new Burnaby based office. This position is a 5 month contract position until March and begins immediately with the possibility of extension and is $17.50 - 19/hr
As a Technical Support Officer, you will be working with a team of 30, providing telephone and email assistance to valued customers. In this job, you will be providing technical support, troubleshooting customer queries concerning the organizations' online database. You will assist with delivering online training programs, navigation, problem diagnosis and resolution, providing basic IT support and outstanding customer service delivery.
The ideal candidate for this job has 2 -3 Years of experience in a call center of IT technical support/helpdesk role where you have processed a high volume of calls. Exceptional online customer service support experience and an understanding of IT principles. Experience in a financial institution is an asset. You are able to multitask, have strong communication skills and have an interest in IT and technology. Fluency in French is a must.
This job requires shift work with varied start times between 5am - 8am. Due to the early start, applicants must have access to a car as public transit will not be available in the early morning.
