Our client, based in Langley is seeking an Administrative Assistant for a 6 week position that has potential to become permanent. As an Administrative Assistant you will provide direct administrative support to a variety of senior professionals, with duties and responsibilities including, but not limited to:

. Reception cover including directing calls and greeting clients

. Direct communication with clients for the collection of information pertaining to their files

. Processing client files following specific legal requirements within hard deadlines

. Monitoring web enquires and client inboxes

. Booking client meetings and managing schedules

. Providing general administrative support including typing, editing and proofreading, general correspondence, reports, and proposals

. Preparing standard reports to assist the managers

. Entering of time and expenses

. General maintenance of stationary ordering and office operations

. Providing back up when necessary, including assisting with training of other staff, Onboarding and Offboarding of employees, and managing workloads, etc.


Competitive Wage: $16 /hour

. At least 2-3 years of administration experience in a similar role

. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including spelling, grammatical and proof reading ability

. Ability to perform secretarial administrative duties with deliberate speed and accuracy without immediate and constant supervision

. Advanced Microsoft Office skills

. Billing experience would be of assistance

. Proven ability to multi-task in a high pressure environment

. Proven time management and organizational skills

. Proven accuracy and attention to detail

. Excellent interpersonal skills and is able to work effectively in a team environment

. Excellent judgment and problem solving skills including the ability and business knowledge to understand the implications of proposed solutions
