The Security Compliance Manager is critical to the continued success of our operations. The primary goal of this position is to manage the security activities and ensure that customer service, security standards and policies and procedures are followed. This dynamic role calls for a proven team leader with exceptional decision-making skills, and the ability to bring out the best talents of our staff members. The position requires a process-oriented individual with a 'hands-on' approach and good judgment skills under pressure. With an excellent management talent the incumbent will undertake security initiatives and oversee the financial, human resources and supply needs.Key Responsibilities:Ensures that all aspects of the Security department meet and or exceed the casino and regulators standards, policies and procedures. Manages, contributes and applies strategies to improve processes, standards, customer service and team morale.Supervises and participates in the security team activities and shifts by leading, training, mentoring, evaluating, and providing feedback as appropriate. Develops and supervises staff to achieve high levels of performance and customer service. Oversees the human resources issues, performance, safety and recruitment needs of the departmentConducts investigations, determines findings and informs to casino management, regulatory and police. Maintains building access and egress controls and ensures that department initiatives such as building evacuation, are coordinated with department and casino staff.Retains a thorough and updated knowledge of company policies and procedures, provincial and local regulations for casino operations. Liaises with the management team and participates in casino initiatives. Contributes to the service standards and department budget. Ensures scheduling and expenditures are controlled.Holds meetings with staff and their representatives What You Will Require:2 years Security or comparable experience in a casino, military or police setting plus 1 year of supervisory experienceCompletion of GSO training Thorough knowledge of casino operations, gaming regulators policies and procedures as they pertain to casino and security operationsProven leadership abilitiesWorking knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet software, email and internet browsersExcellent English communication skills; both verbal and written.Good observation skills and natural attention to detailProven record of good judgment under pressureWorking knowledge of Criminal Code of Canada an assetWhat Is Next:If this is an opportunity you are interested in and your qualifications match the job described above; please apply electronically and early so that you don't miss this opportunity.
