RBC Dominion Securities Branch located in White Rock, BC is looking for an Associate Advisor to assist the Investment Advisor in maintaining, developing and growing their business by providing their clients with exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have at least three years experience in a comparable role within the financial/brokerage industry. Completion of Canadian Securities Course (CSC) iand Codes & Practices Handbook (CPH) is mandatory.

Understanding your Business:Ongoing involvement and scheduling in the review of the business plans, client segmentationand client service plan.
Client Service:Ensure client contact is accomplished utilizing the Business Plan expectationsManage the portfolio review process - utilize tools availableAccount review and other reports such as Maturing Issues for opportunities to contact clientsSet up a shared contact management system to record details of client informationEnsure client inquiries and any problems are responded to in a timely manner and that allactivity is recorded in a contact management system
Administrative:Review all documentation and correspondence filing procedures and ensure an organized system is in placeManage the daily supervision of administrative functionsManage all pending registered plan transfers to ensure completion on a timely basisBusiness Development:Responsible for qualifying prospects, referrals, and other opportunitiesPreparation of materials for meetings with prospects and clientsMaintain and develop relationships with COIs (Centres of Influence)Managing marketing activities such as seminars, brochures, product campaignsKnowledge / Experience: 2-3 years of experience in an Associate role or an equivalent role within the industryAbility to comprehend the firm's operations, policies and procedures regarding client accounts, including internal control policies.Superior problem solving skills and attention to detailExceptional organization and time management skills with the ability to multi-taskExcellent client service skillsStrong written and communication skillsStrong Microsoft Office and Excel skills.Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is mandatoryLicensed by IIROC as a Registered Representative (RR)A high degree of current market activity knowledge is an asset*LI-GM1
